Sounds good to me. I'm gonna see if I can convince the wife to let me go. I don't see that as a problem though, I'm sure she'll be glad to get me out of the house for a little while!

And.... as it turns out, I already have other plans that I forgot about for the targeted weekend - will be spending the day at Bumblebee ranch at Angela's (missymouse) request. Will have to schedule this for some other time.

3 days + 175 caches per day = 525 caches. That last sentence wore me out just thinking about those days! Instead of a "One busy day", this is going to be "One busy weekend"! That's close to beating a Peasinapod caching trip.

Im exhausted just reading this thread lol. We get worn out doing more than 20 in a day. Doing that many just seems ..... wow exhausting.

I told Mike about your trip, just in case he wanted to go. He is considering it, but it doesnt seem likely. He just got vacation time. I doubt he could get more so soon. It sounds like fun. Hope you all enjoy it.
Till a voice, as bad as Conscience, rang interminable changes
On one everlasting Whisper day and night repeated -- so:
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges --
"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"

Boy, there is a ton of debate on this on the main forums. For me it's simple, cache your own way. Some don't like it and that's is perfectly fine. I'm not going to label myself just a hiking cacher or just a urban micro cacher. I'm going to enjoy whatever comes my way. The stories you make while caching are paramount to anything else in my opinion.

This game has evolved so much in just the four years I've been doing it and I assume it will continue to do so in the next four.

FYI: I decided to rent a SUV and camp along the trail. If anyone wants to chip in...... Otherwise, I'll post pics.

Steve, I notified the owners of all the caches in the power trail and they will email you here shortly. They want to apologize to you for not getting your endorsement on this.

Seriously, it's statements like yours that gives Geocaching a bad name, and you a bad rep. It's one thing to state your opinion, I guessing yours is a no on the power trail. It's another thing to criticize and state that we are losers for wanting to do the cache run.

I'm going to do the cache run and have a good time doing it. I'm going to have some great times and get good stories out of it.
